Go Figure, Blumhouse’s Truth or Dare and Rampage Get PG-13 Ratings

I don’t know if anyone cares about MPPA rating as much as I do. I guess my interest comes from the age of growing up when rating actually meant something.
But now movies go straight to VOD and Netflix without ratings at all so I guess the system is unimportant.
But for those like me that do still care about ratings and whatnot, the MPPA just released a new batch of info on upcoming films including Blumhouse’s Truth or Dare and Rampage starring The Rock.
Rampage has been rated PG-13 for “sequences of violence, action and destruction, brief language, and crude gestures.”
And Blumhouse’s Truth Or Dare has been rated PG-13 for “violence and disturbing content, alcohol abuse, some sexuality, language and thematic material.”
