R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps 2 Gets New Title as Shooting Begins?

I was a big fan of the “Goosebumps” books back in middle school, and thus it makes sense that I was a fan of the Goosebumps movie starring Jack Black that hit a few years back. And it’s with my love of all things gooses and bumps that I’m excited about Ari Sandel’s upcoming sequel.

And speaking of which, it looks like author R.L. Stine recently let slip that not only has Goosebumps 2 started shooting, but the film’s official title is Slappy Halloween.

Stine broke this news on Twitter, but unfortunately, his tweet has since been removed – meaning, to me at least, this was accurate information. That said, we cannot confirm this new info at the moment so we’re just going to file this story as a rumor for the time being. Sound good? Okay then.

Are you excited to know that R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps 2: Slappy Halloween (might) be currently shooting? Let us know below!

Goosebumps (2015) Synopsis:

Upset about moving from the big city to a small town, young Zach Cooper (Dylan Minnette) finds a silver lining when he meets his beautiful neighbor Hannah (Odeya Rush). The teen is surprised to learn that Hannah’s mysterious father is R.L. Stine (Jack Black), the famous author of the best-selling “Goosebumps” series. When Zach accidentally unleashes the monsters from the fantastic tales, it’s up to Stine, his daughter and Cooper to return the beasts back to the books where they belong.
