More casting news has come in for the finally titled Scott Derrickson’s found footage film, Sinister. Who’s next to get spooked for Summit Entertainment? Read on for details!
According to Variety James Ransone (pictured right; Prom Night, “Treme,””How To Make It in America”) has joined the previously announced Ethan Hawke.
Summit Entertainment will be handling the domestic distro here in the States.
From a script by Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill, “Ethan Hawke plays a journalist who travels with his family around the country to investigate gruesome murders he turns into books. After he moves his family into a house where another family was murdered, the journo discovers found footage that unveils horrifying clues beyond what caused the original tragedy.”
