On his way back to the small screen (though the way TVs are growing every day, we won’t be calling it that for much longer), CBS just approved a new show that will give our favorite fallen angel, Satan, a chance to shine on a weekly basis!
All right, it’s likely that the show won’t feature Satan every week, and in reality there are other fallen angels I like better, but it sure made for a good first paragraph, no? CBS has approved a new exorcism-themed show from “Joan of Arcadia” creator Barbara Hall and Exorcist III/Nightbreed producer Joe Roth. The details are being kept under wraps, but The Hollywood Reporter says it will revolve around exorcists and other investigators of supernatural occurrences.
Just so you don’t get too excited about the show being all about the evil, THR also mentioned that Bob Larson, a Christian speaker who is an expert on cults and supernatural phenomena, is consulting on the show, so expect a good God bomb every few weeks once it’s up and running. We’ll have more details for you as they manifest themselves!
