Jordana Spiro, Edward James Olmos, Colin Hanks, Molly Parker, Brea Grant, Aimee Garcia, Mos Def, Josh Cooke, and Billy Brown have all landed guest starring or recurring arcs in “Dexter” Season Six, joining regulars Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, Desmond Harrington, James Remar, David Zayas, C.S. Lee, and Lauren Velez.
The explosively popular “Dexter” is back with a vengeance for a sixth season of startling suspense and unexpected twists. It’s been a year since last season’s shocking and heartbreaking conclusion, and mild mannered criminologist-cum-grisly serial killer Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) has come to terms with who he is. But his existence is shattered when he crosses paths with an enemy unlike any he’s faced before. A delusional religious zealot with unflinching convictions, this new adversary soon draws Dexter into a dangerous game that could well end in disaster.
“Homeland” also should hold some appeal to genre fans. It centers on Marine Sergeant Scott Brody (Damian Lewis), who returns home eight years after going missing in Iraq, and Carrie Anderson (Claire Danes), a driven CIA officer who suspects he might be plotting an attack on America.
