Haunting First Look at The Whispering Dead

Post Thumb:

Another found footage film is on its way to tantalize our aural senses, and we’ve got your very first look at the spookiness to come once The Whispering Dead start making some noise.

From the Press Release
Busted Knuckle Productions has recently completed production on the horror thriller The Whispering Dead. From the writers of Cornered (Hunter G. Williams, Scott Michael Campbell) comes a film about terror, as six friends explore a haunted hospital, abandoned long ago. Expecting to see a few strange lights and a darkened hall or two, this camera crew finds malevolent spirits protective of their graves and lost children! This found footage is all that remains of the reality television crew.

The Whispering Dead is part of a genre that is shared by the much praised Blair Witch Project (1999), Paranormal Activity (2007), and the widely shown Atrocious (2011). This is a genre that explores the supernatural from a personal perspective, while showing viewers footage that is terror filled and difficult to experience. The success of the found footage style of filmmaking continues with The Whispering Dead, a truly terrifying film!

The Whispering Dead will release October 31st, 2011. Stay tuned!

In 2008 a cast and crew set out to shoot a pilot for a paranormal reality show. During the first night vague apparitions became violent hauntings. One by one they lost their lives. The Whispering Dead is a diary of the final tortured moments of real people in an unthinkable situation. (Busted Knuckle Productions)
