Ted Geoghegan’s Mohawk Gets Early March Release: New Trailer Released

A new trailer for Mohawk, the latest film from We Are Still Here director Ted Geoghegan, has been released and can be seen below. Set in 19th century America, the film follows a Native American woman who is hunted by a group of US soldiers after one of her tribe attacks their camp. Dark Sky Films will be putting the film out on VOD and Digital HD on March 2.

Having seen the film, I can tell you that it’s certainly an incredibly important feature that tackles not only themes of the United States’ past and our relationship with other cultures but also themes of sexuality and power dynamics.

Kaniehtiio Horn (“Hemlock Grove”), Jonathan Huber (WWE Superstar Luke Harper), Eamon Farren (“Twin Peaks”), Justin Rain (The Twilight Saga: Eclipse), and Noah Segan (Star Wars: The Last Jedi) star.

Synopsis:
After one of her tribe sets an American camp ablaze, a young Mohawk warrior finds herself pursued by a battalion of military renegades bent on revenge. Fleeing deep into the woods they call home, Oak and Calvin, along with their British companion Joshua, must now fight back against the bloodthirsty Colonel Holt and his soldiers – using everything the labyrinthine forest can offer.
