Insinister? Jason Blum Wants to Do a Sinister and Insidious Crossover Film

Do you love the Insidious franchise? Of course, you do. How about the Sinister series? Maybe not so much. But still, this news should be exciting.

Evidently, Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions is not only up for crossing certain Blumhouse films over, but he specifically wants to do a hybrid film based on Insidious and Sinister.

“We almost did (a crossover between) INSIDIOUS and SINISTER,” Blum told CinePOP recently. “I still feel like we might do that. So, I think so. I think we’re going to cross our worlds at some point. I don’t know how yet, but we’re gonna try.”

That could make for one hell of a fun film, I say. As long as they don’t call it Insinister. What do you think? Let us know below!

While there is no further info on the possible crossover film at the moment, we will let you know if and when we hear more.

Insidious: The Last Key is now playing in theaters.

Synopsis:

Parapsychologist Elise Rainier and her team travel to Five Keys, N.M., to investigate a man’s claim of a haunting. Terror soon strikes when Rainier realizes that the house he lives in was her family’s old home.
