Zombies, ghosts, home invaders, and the Devil, oh my!
It’s been a bit since we last brought you word on writer and director J. Horton’s independent horror Groundhog Day’esque feature The Campus, but that all changes today as we deliver exclusively to you the latest trailer, stills and release info for the flick. Read on!
Set to premiere at Hollywood, CA’s Arena Cinelounge this January 26th (where it’ll hold its limited theatrical run through February 1st), The Campus will then drop on VOD on Amazon Instant on February 1st, before bowing on iTunes, DIRECTV and Vudu. Physical Blu-ray and DVD releases to follow in March of 2018.
Written and directed by J. Horton and starring newcomer Rachel Amanda Bryant, The Campus is produced by James Bills, Sean Reid, and Kacper Skowron. Here’s the film’s official synopsis: “Robert dies after breaking his deal with the Devil, bringing his daughter home for the funeral. His daughter, Morgan, arrives with the intent of ripping off the family business but soon finds herself in a never-ending cycle of terror; being brutally murdered then resurrected over and over again – each time losing another piece of her soul.”
Executive produced by Joe Bartone, John Mitchell, and Robert C. Pullman and co-produced by Robert Bravo with associate producer credits going to Holly Rockwell, the Gas Money Pictures/ANC Entertainment/Small Factory Films’ cast is rounded out by Pullman, Brit Sheridan, Scott Menville, Hakeemshady Mohamed, and Aaron Groben, with Kevin Caliber portraying the film’s satanic big bad.
With ninety percent of the film’s effects delivered practically via creature designer Robert Bravo and special effects artist Julie Hapney, consider our curiosity quite piqued.
