Rest in Peace: Chad Armstrong

We bring you some sad news from the indie horror community today as reports have come in that writer, filmmaker, and film distributor Chad Armstrong of LeglessCorpse Films passed away this past December 17th after a battle with stage 4 liver cancer.
Chad was a strong voice in the film community for nearly two decades with a career that spanned from FX work to distribution and everything in-between. He wrote, directed, produced and did his damndest to get indie features like Don’t Look in the Basement 2, Dolly Deadly, Reel Nightmare, Ballet of Blood, and Volumes of Blood into the hands of horror lovers everywhere.
We here at Dread Central would like to take this time to both salute and honor Chad for all of his efforts and undying love for the genre. Our deepest of condolences and sympathies go out to his friends, family members, and constituents. Respect and godspeed.
