Ben Wheatley Hits the Road with the Sightseers

With his satanic themed film Kill List still very much burning up the festival circuit with a release from IFC coming later this year, all eyes are on director Ben Wheatley in terms of what he’s going to do next.
The Playlist caught up with Ben to get to the bottom of things …
“We’re in prep at the moment, we start shooting in six weeks with a film called Sightseers with Big Talk.”
Big Talk, for those of you not in the know, was the production company behind Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and most recently Attack the Block. Edgar Wright will serve as executive producer on the project, which was written by and will star Alice Lowe and Steve Oram.
Details are scant at the moment plotwise, but we do know that Sightseers is a dark comedy focusing on psychotic caravaners. We’re in! More soon!
