The third and final teaser clip from FX’s “American Horror Story” has made it way online, and it features a moment of lust and illicit passion. Who couldn’t use a little bit of that on a Friday? In addition, we have some casting news for the show.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, Rise of the Planet of the Apes co-star Jamie Harris (pictured on the right)has booked a recurring role on Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s FX horror drama “American Horror Story”. The actor, who most recently appeared as a robber on ABC’s now-canceled “No Ordinary Family”, will play a sociopath killer named R. Franklin.
The spooky project, which stars Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton and Jessica Lange, has been picked up for 13 episodes and is eyed for a launch around Halloween.
In creating the show, Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk took inspiration from classic 1970s horror movies, including Rosemary’s Baby, Don’t Look Now and The Shining.
The highly anticipated project centers on Ben Harmon (Dylan McDermott), a handsome therapist who, along with his wife (Connie Britton) and their kids (including actress Taissa Farmiga), moves from Boston to a haunted San Francisco home in an attempt to rebuild his family after a miscarriage and affair. Frances Conroy will play their housekeeper while Alexandra Breckenridge will play a younger version of the same character.
Living next door to our protagonists are Constance (Jessica Lange) and her daughter with down syndrome who knows more about the Harmon house than everyone realizes. Denis O’Hare joins them as Larry the Burn Guy, a former resident of the home.
Be sure to tune in October 5 when “American Horror Story” premieres on FX.
