Horror Box Office – OPENING THIS WEEK: November 10, 2017

Welcome back, everyone. If you’ve managed to make it through the week after adjusting to the time change, maybe you can manage to stay awake long enough to check out a movie or two this week.

This week sees the VOD release of Amityville: The Awakening in case you missed it in theaters or on Google Play a couple of weeks ago.

This week also brings with it the star-studded remake of Murder on the Orient Express. If you’ve never seen the original 1974 classic, this might entice you to check it out.

You can also check out Radius this week. I personally think the premise of this movie sounds intriguing. A man wakes up with amnesia and finds that anyone who comes within 50 feet of him instantly dies. I definitely want to see this movie.

Amityville: The Awakening (11/14 – VOD)

Amityville: The Awakening is a revival of the popular franchise and a modern twist on the classic horror film. Belle and her family move into a new house, but when strange phenomena begin to occur in the house, Belle begins to suspect her mother isn’t telling her everything and soon realizes they just moved into the infamous Amityville house.

I Remember You (Eg Man Big) (Theater)

A story about a young man and woman who move into a small abandoned town in Iceland to renovate an old house. Little do they know the town has a dark history.

Mayhem (Limited Theatrical Release & VOD)

A virus spreads through a office complex causing white collar workers to act out their worst impulses.

Murder on the Orient Express (Theater)

A lavish train ride unfolds into a stylish and suspenseful mystery. From the novel by Agatha Christie, Murder on the Orient Express tells of thirteen stranded strangers and one man’s race to solve the puzzle before the murderer strikes again.

Primal Rage (Limited Theatrical Release & VOD)

A newly reunited young couple’s drive through the Pacific Northwest turns into a nightmare as they are forced to face nature, unsavory locals, and a monstrous creature, known to the Native Americans as Oh-Mah.

Radius (VOD)

Liam wakes from a car crash with no memory of who he is. As he makes his way into town to look for help, he finds only dead bodies, all with strange pale eyes. Liam’s first assessment is that a virus is present in the air, but he soon discovers the horrible truth: Anyone who comes within a 50-foot radius of him dies instantly.
