Jessica Chastain Wants to Play Adult Beverly Marsh In IT: Chapter 2

With the first part of Stephen King’s IT burning up the box-office, it only seems right that we turn our attention towards the upcoming sequel IT: Chapter 2. More specifically, who the hell is going to be playing the adult counterparts of the Loser’s Club in the upcoming flick.
While there isn’t anything official we can share at the moment, we do have news via Screen Rant that fan-favorite Jessica Chastain hopes to snag the role of adult Beverly Marsh.
“Well, I love Andy and Barbara,” Chastain says. “I worked with them on Andy’s directorial debut, you know, his film, Mama. His first film. And you know, Barbara is one of my best friends so…”
She continues saying, “Listen, of course, I want to work… they’re my friends. They’re like my family. Anything that they’re doing I want to be a part of, so I hope we can make it happen.”
How do you feel about Jessica Chastain taking over the role of adult Bev Marsh? If not Chastain then who would you like to see play grown-up, Bev? Amy Adams? Meh.
