Saban Films’ Day of the Dead: Bloodline, a reimagining of George A. Romero’s 1985 zombie horror classic, has locked down a release date and we’re here to divulge those details as well as bring you the teaser poster premiere, which you can see below.

Bearing the sinister tagline “Every Day Has Its End“, the teaser poster shows a zombie shambling away from a bright sun while the title is in strong letters along the left edge. Top-lined with the statement “A bold new reimainging of the George A. Romero classic“, I guess we’ll have to wait and see come this winter!

Day of the Dead: Bloodline is in theaters and comes to VOD and Digital HD on January 5th, 2018. It was directed by Hèctor Hernández Vicens, written by Mark Tonderai & Lars Jacobson, and stars Johnathon Schaech, Sophie Skelton, Marcus Vanco, and Jeff Gum.

Synopsis:
A reimagining of George A. Romero’s cult classic, Day of the Dead: Bloodline is set in a post-apocalyptic, zombie-filled world where a former med school student is tormented by a dark figure from her past. The only thing is, he’s a half-human, half-zombie hell-bent on destroying her world.
