San Diego Comic-Con 2011: Exclusive Video Interview: James Frain Talks Upcoming Thriller Transit

After Dark Films recently announced its partnership with Silver Pictures and legendary producer Joel Silver to launch a brand-new cutting edge brand of five thrillers that feature performances by a new generation of badass action stars including Wes Chatham, Sean Faris, Michael Jai White, Scott Adkins, James Frain and Cung Le.

While at the San Diego-Comic Con last month, Dread Central’s Buz Wallick had the opportunity to chat with actor Frain about his upcoming After Dark project called Transit, a gritty crime thriller about a group of criminals stalking a vacationing family who unknowingly have the bad guys’ cash inside the trunk of their car.

Frain might be best known around these parts as Franklin Mott in Season Three of “True Blood” who captured and tortured Rutina Wesley’s Tara Thornton over several episodes. He’s also appeared in several other genre-related projects including the cult classic television series “Invasion”, “Fringe” and “Medium”.
