The great thing about horror is just how universal it is. There are urban legends and folklore stories that have been passed down through the generations across different cultures and lands. The people of China have their own horror tales that are no less or more important than the Irish or Brazilians. It’s a global phenomenon and it’s absolutely fascinating to see what scared these different cultures as a unique barometer of their values and fears.
