Violent New Trailer Released For The Last of Us Part II

A brand new trailer for Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part II has come out of Paris Games Week and it’s incredibly intense. Featuring brand new characters, the trailer tells the tale of a woman who is having a SERIOUSLY bad night. I don’t think it’s Ellie that we’re seeing but she isn’t given a name, so who knows?
Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson will return as Joel and Ellie in the sequel, which will take place five years after the events of its predecessor. “Westworld” star Shannon Woodward is also confirmed to be part of the game’s cast.
Whilst the first game’s plot centered around the theme of love, Druckmann stated in an interview with Eurogamer that hatred will be the driving force of Part II.
The first game was the recipient of many Game of the Year awards, is one of the most awarded games in history, and is considered by many to be one of the greatest video games ever released, a feeling I personally agree with.
