We have another infographic to share with you today as we take a look at some of the books that have been challenged or outright banned over the years because they were perceived as being “too scary.” Surprisingly, there really aren’t that many horror books included – just goes to show there’s plenty to fear in other genres as well!
With Halloween in the air, most of us only think of truly scary things: ghosts, witches, haunted houses, skeletons, and clowns. BUT – have you ever thought about the thousands of scary books published? Did you know that what might seem like a harmless children’s book was once feared by many?
