The always awesome Zed Fest Film Festival kicks off its 8th year on Halloween Night, Tuesday, October 31st, and runs through Friday, November 3rd. Our own Staci Layne Wilson has a couple of movies that are playing there so we want to make sure they’re on your radar if you’re planning to attend.

Staci’s feature film Fetish Factory, produced by Blanc/Biehn Productions, recently had its world premiere at the first-ever Planet 9 Film Festival, where it won Best Movie and Mind-Blown awards. It’s a comedy about beautiful burlesque dancers battling bloodthirsty zombies in post-apocalyptic Hollywood. The next showing will be at the wonderfully indie-friendly Zed Fest at the Laemmle NoHo 7 in North Hollywood, CA, at 8:45 PM on November 1st.

Her award-winning (20 kudos and counting) short film Psycho Therapy will play at Zed Fest the following evening at 11:00 PM. Psycho Therapy is produced by and stars one of our favorite people, Brooke Lewis, who plays Tonia, an unhinged psychiatric patient who engages her doctor (Ricky Dean Logan of Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare fame) in a dangerous game of cat and mouse.
