Earlier today, the Walk of Fame revealed its star for legendary horror director George A. Romero. Guests from all over the world were in attendance to pay respect to Romero, who passed away earlier this year, and to give thanks to a man who was responsible not only for creating the modern zombie but for crafting so many nightmares amongst us all.

Also in attendance were many people from the film and TV community who either worked with Romero or were somehow related to his body of work. Speaking at the ceremony were three people who each have a strong relationship to the horror genre in their own ways and our own Sean Decker was in attendance to record Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange, Doomsday, Halloween), Edgar Wright (director of Shaun of the Dead and Baby Driver), and legendary FX wizard Greg Nicotero (“The Walking Dead”, Day of the Dead, Predators) give speeches about Romero, each one personalizing it in their own unique and wonderful way.

The videos can be seen below and we ask that you take a minute to share your own thoughts about George A. Romero in the comments now that some time has passed since he left us. It can be memories, stories, emotions, or whatever you’d like.
