For years Danielle Harris has been lovingly offering us the types of shocks and scares we as horror fans have been craving. We feel like we’ve grown up with her in a strange way, and now that she’s making her way to the director’s chair for Among Friends, she needs a bit of that love back!

“Fans and friends – I need your HELP,” says Harris. “I wanna make the kind of movie that you wanna see but I need some love!!! If you could please donate whatever you can to our Kickstarter page for Among Friends not only will you be helping to create a great flick, but in return I will be sending you some “killer” stuff!! Autographed cast pics, set visits, and even VIP tickets to the premiere! You never know, I may even put you in the movie!”

How could you resist? Let us be clear; the money being raised here isn’t to start the project from scratch. Among Friends is well under way and very real. The extra budget will only serve to make it as good as possible, and you’ll be getting some nifty stuff in return. Check out the above link for all of the details.

The film was written by Alyssa Lobit, who also stars along with director Harris, Brea Grant, Chris Backus, Jennifer Blanc Biehn, AJ Bowen, Brianne Davis, Dana Daurey, Kamala Jones, Chris Meyer and Tanya Newbould with cameos from Xavier Gens, Kane Hodder, and more.

Among Friends centers on a group of old friends who get together for a dinner party, but of course clearly things aren’t quite what they seem.

The flick is said to be an Eighties style horror comedy in the vein of April Fool’s Day, Clue and Happy Birthday to Me along with some other fun stuff!

Check out the smokin’ hot portion of the cast below, and look for more soon!
