Believe in miracles, kids! John Skipp’s latest project, Rose: The Bizarro Zombie Musical, has been fully funded thanks to generous folks like you! All that’s left to do is to start shedding the red with a song in your heart!
“I was thinking about fainting,” Skipp says when reached for comment, “but decided against it, just to see what happens next. The last several days have been astonishing. I am totally blown away.”
“Just knowing that crowdsourcing works — that friends, fans, and total strangers can kick in to making amazing things financially happen, outside of the system — says a lot about how unusual films may get made in the future. A lot of small, honest gambles on something that might be cool, instead of a handful of big investors hedging their bets.”
Skipp continues, “I’ll have more to say when the campaign ends. But for now, I LOVE YOU GUYS! Can never thank you enough, for taking us to the next level. And promise to make ROSE amazing.”

Synopsis
Rose is a super-hot, hilarious ex-mental patient with a cable access puppet show in downtown LA. But now it’s 48 hours into the zombie apocalypse so she’s running rescue stations and musical numbers round the clock, trying to keep people’s hope alive…and periodically pausing to pulverize the skulls of the zombies trying to bust down her door.
