Chris Carter Still Wants to Resurrect Millennium Starring Lance Henriksen & Terry O’Quinn

Published

For those who might not be familiar, “Millennium” was a TV series created by “The X-Files” creator Chris Carter that starred genre legends Lance Henriksen and Terry O’Quinn.

The series ran on Fox from 1996-1999 before being canceled following its third season. Since then there has been talk of a “Millennium” movie and a possible TV revival series, and it seems rumors are still going strong.

Recently Chris Carter was interviewed by Deadline regarding the upcoming 11th season of “The X-Files” and was asked if there was another series he’d like to resurrect. Not surprisingly, Carter answered “Millennium.”

Carter said, “I think ‘Millennium’ would be a show that would have more life in it, but no one’s ever spoken seriously to me about that.”

He continued, “I always feel that there are more of those stories to tell as well. After three seasons, we pulled the plug on that show, but the ratings were still very good so I think that there is a new approach to that show building on the solid foundation that was already there.”

If we can say nothing more about this Bundy film at this time, we can say that it sure as hell boasts some ballsy casting choices. And we’re all for that. What do you think? Let us know below!

The film is directed by Joe Berlinger from a script by Michael Werwie and stars John Malkovich, Lily Collins, Kaya Scodelario, Angela Sarafyan, Jeffrey Donovan, Jim Parsons, and Zac Efron as Ted Bundy.

The movie is currently shooting in Covington, Kentucky.

Published

on

With all the depressing news of late about kids having to contend with real-life monsters, we can take solace in the fact that the childhood horror that is “the monster in the closet” is finally about to meet its match at the hands of some monster-busting kids in the forthcoming feature Monsters at Large.

From Florida filmmaker Jason Murphy and screenwriter Anthony Steven Giordano, the duo behind the Robo-Dog movies, comes Monsters at Large. The PG-rated flick about children with an overactive imagination that form a task force to stop imaginary monsters only to encounter the real thing is slated for release on DVD and VOD via Lionsgate on March 13th.

Mischa Barton (“The OC”), Austin St. John (“Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers”), veteran character actor Stephen Tobolowsky, and The Florida Project’s Brooklynn Prince star.

Synopsis:
Mischa Barton and Austin St. John highlight this frightfully funny family adventure in the spirit of Ghostbusters, Goonies, Super 8, and “Stranger Things.” Alex decides to end his kid brother’s nightmares by forming a task force to take care of imaginary monsters. When their business becomes a hit, nothing can go wrong… until one of the monsters turns out to be real – and really big! Brooklynn Prince and Stephen Tobolowsky also stars in this spooky, silly supernatural saga.
