After bringing us his Emoji-themed horror short Wink last year, filmmaker Alex J. Mann is back with the ‘choose your own adventure’ interactive film Cool. As its name suggests, Cool focuses around the theme of temperature, with a thermostat developing a mind of its own and terrorizing a young couple in an attempt to sabotage their relationship.

There are three possible endings, depending on how the viewer chooses to interact with the film.

Cool stars Elisabeth Hower, Dan J. Johnson, Tristan Clopet, and Gabby Shulman and was directed by Mann, who shared writing duties with K. Adam Bloom. The film has been embedded below for you to watch and interact with at your own leisure.
