Melissa George needs two things as soon as possible (three if you include me); about half a dozen hamburgers and better friends to advise her where to hang out.
Moviehole has discovered that the Turistas/Amityville Horror starlet has gotten herself into another captive situation with the new movie from In Memorium director Amanda Gusack, Captive. Why anyone would want their film named that after the recent Captivity debacle is beyond me, but what can you do?
The film will find George playing a happily married mother of a 6-year-old boy. After a bad car accident she regains consciousness to find herself being held captive by the masked killer Vince, who reveals some very unsettling truths to the young wife and mother about her seemingly perfect life.
I’ve never had a problem with sweet Melissa, she’s a very cute girl despite how fucking thin she is and I think her turn in 30 Days of Night is going to help a lot of people think more of her. Or I hope so. In addition Gusack’s last film, the aforementioned In Memorium (learn more here), has been very well-received by those few who’ve seen it, so maybe this has got some hope after all. If nothing else, at least a chick is doing a woman in bondage horror flick for once!
