GosT Channels Satanic Hysteria to Tease New Album Possessor

By now, you’ve all probably heard of synthwave, the music genre that pays heavy homage to 70’s and 80’s synth-based soundtracks while injecting their own almost pop electronica elements. I’ve written about several artists that fall into this category but GosT is something a bit different…a bit more dark.
Dubbed “slasherwave”, GosT’s music is what you would get if you took synthwave and said, “Fuck it, I want this to sound like I’m killing people.” And with his upcoming third album Possessor, GosT is adding a bit of a Satanic hysteria to the mix in the form of a teaser, which you can watch below.
Now, Possessor won’t be coming out until early next year, so you’ve got a bit to wait. However, GosT and, by extension, his label Blood Music has yet to offer a bad release, so I’m perfectly fine waiting a bit for this to come out. I just hope I don’t become one of the victims of a Satantic ritualistic cult between now and then!
