Ethan Hawke Signs on for Untitled Scott Derrickson Horror-Thriller

While we may not have a title for Scott Derrickson’s upcoming horror flick, we do have a star! Read on for some more clues about the new terrors to come from the director of The Exorcism of Emily Rose.

According to The Hollywood Reporter Ethan Hawke has signed on to star in Scott Derrickson’s untitled horror-thriller pic from Insidious and Paranormal Activity producer Jason Blum.

Blum’s Blumhouse/Possessed Pictures is producing the genre film with Brian Kavanaugh-Jones’ Automatik Entertainment, a joint venture of Alliance Films and IM Global. Charles Layton is executive producing.

Derrickson begins shooting the micro-budgeted horror-thriller on September 19th from a script he co-wrote with C. Robert Cargill. The logline is being kept under tight wraps.
