It’s officially two weeks until the kick off of this year’s Telluride Horror Show and we couldn’t be more excited! But for those paying attention, only the first wave has been revealed…until now. We’re excited to bring you the first look at the second wave of films, events, and guests for this year’s festival, which are all a doozy!

Included in the second wave of films are the world premiere of Derelicts as well as Never Hike Alone, which is a fan tribute to Friday the 13th that we’ve heard nothing but amazing things about! Additionally, there will be the Colorado premieres of Tragedy Girls, Desolation, Cold Hell, and Psychopaths. On top of that, 14 additional shorts have been added to the festival.

In attendance will be Patrick Brice for Creep 2, Greg McLean for Jungle, John Dwyer on behalf of Confessions of a Serial Killer: Director’s Cut, and Tyler MacIntyre of Tragedy Girls. Author Jeremy Robert Johnson will be in attendance for a book signing and bonfire reading at the Horror Show’s second annual Creepy Campfire Tales.

Not to toot our own horns but I’ll be there on behalf of Dread Central to host a Horror Trivia event, which will feature some awesome prizes! This will be one of many exciting events to take place during the weekend of October 13th-15th, so be sure to check everything out below!

If you want to attend, tickets can be found right here.

CONFESSIONS OF A SERIAL KILLER is the thinly veiled account of the chilling life and crimes of notorious serial killer Henry Lee Lucas and his side-kick Ottis Toole. CONFESSIONS was the first film about Henry Lee Lucas, completed in 1985. Independently produced in Austin, Texas, it was picked up for distribution by Roger Corman’s Concorde-New Horizons. Unfortunately, the film was shelved in the Concorde-New Horizons vault, unreleased in the U.S. until 1992. Through the years, despite multiple edited versions, CONFESSIONS developed a following in underground markets with illegal bootlegs. In 2016, the film rights reverted to its creator, allowing the film to finally be shown as it was originally intended.
