New Teaser Unleashed for The Exorcist Episode 2.01 – Janus

I don’t know about you guys, but I certainly plan on staying home this coming Friday night to watch the Season 2 premiere of “The Exorcist.” If you’re even slightly on the fence about it, this new promo teaser should settle things for you… it sure looks like “must-see TV” of the first order to us!
Season 2 picks up with Father Tomas Ortega (Alfonso Herrera) and the now-collarless Marcus Keane (Ben Daniels) out of Chicago and on the road, searching out evil. Across the Atlantic, Father Bennett (Kurt Egyiawan) attempts to weed out those within The Vatican who have turned against God. Ultimately, Tomas and Marcus are led to Andrew Kim (John Cho), a former child psychologist who runs a group home for five at-risk foster children on a secluded private island off the coast of Seattle. When one of the children under Andrew’s care is targeted by a powerful force, the two priests head west, setting themselves on a collision course with Hell.

In the Season 2 premiere, Father Tomas continues his training to become an exorcist under the watchful eye of his partner, Marcus Keane. Their travels lead them to a troubled young woman in rural Montana, where their investigation puts them in the crosshairs of her extended family. In other events, the State sends a social worker to determine whether Andy Kim’s group home for at-risk foster children should be closed.
