Pyewacket Finds a Home With IFC Midnight and More!

After a successful screening at the Toronto International Film Festival, the new film from Adam MacDonald (Backcountry), entitled Pyewacket has found a home with IFC Midnight.

According to Screen Daily, Seville International has also sold the film to Signature Entertainment for the UK, New Select for Japan, Cinemex for Latin America, Empire International Gulf for the Middle East, Pratama for Indonesia, Suraya for Malaysia, and Green Media for Vietnam.

Pyewacket stars Nicole Muñoz, Laurie Holden, Chloe Rose, Eric Osborne, James McGowan, and Bianca Melchior. It was produced by Andrew Bronfman, Jonathan Bronfman, Lori Fischburg, Victoria Sanchez Mandryk, Jeff Sackman, and Joe Sisto.

Synopsis:
A frustrated girl attempts an occult ritual in order to kill her mother but awakens something sinister in the woods instead.
