More Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D Casting News

Yet another female has signed up for active duty to face the dreaded Leatherface and his boundless vengeance and disdain for all things pretty! Not to mention his hunger for human flesh. Dog will hunt, after all.

According to Bloody Disgusting Sue Rock (pictured right; Varsity Blues) will be starring as “Arlene” in Lionsgate’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D.

Providing final talks go as planned, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D will also star Percy Jackson & the Olympians‘ Alexandra Daddario as the female lead, Leatherface’s cousin Heather. Bill Moseley also stars.

John Luessenhop (Takers) is directing the pic, which is a reimagining that picks up after Tobe Hooper’s original 1974 horror classic. Adam Marcus and Debra Sullivan co-wrote the script, which was polished by Kirsten Elms and Luessenhop.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D is scheduled for an October 5th, 2012 release. More soon.
