Report 51 Reveals Aliens and Found Footage

And yet another found footage flick in on its way containing aliens and shaking cameras. Though cinéma vérité style filmmaking is quickly reaching its saturation point, you just never know when one of the few quality affairs that get everything right will show up. Could Report 51 get the job done? It’s gotten our interest for sure.

The film directed by Alessio Liguori stars Michela Bruni, Luca Guastini, Viola Graziosi, Damiano Martina and Ann Pierssens and is currently in post-production.

According to the official Report 51 website (which is home to lots of viral goodies), “the found footage [presented here] is what four unaware American students experience after a strange and nonetheless unintentional sighting. They decide to organize a weekend in the woods to research what is going on, and the video-documentary is the faithful recording of a happy jaunt among friends which soon turns into a terrific nightmare and a struggle for life. These four friends quickly forget their jealousies and the juvenile flirts to escape from an impending extraterrestrial threat.”
