A few days ago we introduced you to Kenshi, the blind warrior who’ll be slicing his way into the Mortal Kombat tournament next week via DLC. Now we get to know the blood-hungry swordsman a bit better.
Below you’ll find the latest video from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios, which takes gamers deeper into the background of Mortal Kombat’s newest downloadable warrior, Kenshi, and explains how he came to lose his sight and develop his extraordinary senses. The second of four new downloadable warriors, Kenshi will be available on Microsoft Xbox LIVE for 400 Microsoft Points or $4.99 on PlayStation Network starting on July 5th. Kenshi will be available on the same date for users who have purchased the Microsoft Season Pass. Also releasing on that date will be a free compatibility pack featuring two klassic skins – Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 -inspired Noob Saibot and Smoke.
Mortal Kombat (review here) is the most brutal installment of the legendary fighting game to date and is currently available on the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft in 2011. The game, along with the upcoming DLC, was developed by NetherRealm Studios, led by Mortal Kombat creator and creative director Ed Boon.
