Well now, it seems the real cat is out of the bag as far as the official synopsis for Ridley Scott’s upcoming could-be-an-Alien-prequel, Prometheus, goes; and with it comes the announcement of a new cast member.
According to JoBlo Ben Foster (pictured right) is now part of the cast that includes Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green and Michael Fassbender.
Without further ado, here’s the synopsis. It’s not very detailed, but at the very least it’s accurate. Look for Prometheus in theaters on June 8th, 2012.
Visionary filmmaker Ridley Scott returns to the genre he helped define, creating an original science fiction epic set in the most dangerous corners of the universe. The film takes a team of scientists and explorers on a thrilling journey that will test their physical and mental limits and strand them on a distant world, where they will discover the answers to our most profound questions and to life’s ultimate mystery.
