One of our main beefs with Wes Craven’s long-awaited Scream 4 was that there was no imagination to the kills. Most everyone simply got stabbed. True they were stabbed in different places, but it was kind of boring nonetheless. Now maybe if those sequences were dressed up with lots of gore things would have been different. Case in point …

The Ghostface mavens over at Scream Trilogy landed themselves several never-before-seen stills from the flick, one of which is bloody as hell. You can dig on that one below. Hit up the above link for more.

Look for Scream 4 on Blu-ray, DVD, and VOD on October 4th, 2010 hopefully with some of this restored scenes of mayhem added back into the mix. Stay tuned.

You're such an inspiration for the ways that I will never, ever choose to be.

The movie was pretty mediocre. It didn’t have the creepiness or the “magic” of the older films. The new generation is really getting screwed. As a kid I enjoyed these films and now they’re just becoming crap. Remakes and sequels to the old films are basically disgraceful now. I don’t see the point.

AH Scream 4, a giant turd of 2011.

  • Shambling_in_Bandages

The blood looks kind of bored to me, as if it couldn’t summon up the energy to splash and splatter across the walls. Instead, it just kind of… dribbled down the walls in lazy vertical lines, putting in the minimum effort to qualify as murder-scene blood patterns.

Kind of like everything else about this film, really.

That sure is a lot of corn syrup and food coloring.

It is but …. how come none of it is on the floor?

      • PelusaMG

I was thinking the same thing… all over the walls, but none on the floor!
