Who said Mondays have to suck? Especially now that “True Blood” is back and HBO has provided us with recap and “inside the episode” videos for last night’s “She’s Not There” ep and a preview of next week’s “You Smell Like Dinner”! And if that’s not enough, we also have a new entry in Jessica’s blog entitled “A House Is Not a Home”.

    Part of me thinks, Fuck, they sure are straying waaaay off the path of the books; but another part of realizes the show would be boring if they slavishly followed every plot point written down by Charlaine Harris.

    That being said, I wish they would figure out what to do with Tara. The whole “this character we don’t know what to do with anymore is gay now” thing is a cliche that needs to die. Or maybe Tara needs to die, I dunno.

      Yeah, it does seem like the gay thing was just thrown in to shake things up, but considering her track record with men, it’s not a huge surprise. Plus, it was good to see her being a badass after all the shit she’s gone through. Hopefully she’ll show back up in Bon Temps soon and get a real juicy storyline this season.

        I was happy to see her show considerable restraint when the perv showed up. Old Tara woulda kicked the shit out of him, no questions asked. It was cool to see her walk away from that.
