Fantastic Fest Breaks Out of Austin and Ventures to Three Other Cities

Austin can no longer claim Fantastic Fest as its own as the renowned festival has announced that they are launching satellite festivals in at Alamo Drafthouse locations in Brooklyn, Denver, and San Francisco! Each satellite will run the weekend of September 29th to October 1st and share curated titles from the parent festival.
Evrim Ersoy, Fantastic Fest Creative Director, explains, “For too long Austin has had all the Fantastic fun! We’ve long wanted to share these brilliant films with the widest audience possible, by opening up these three satellites it’s our first step in expanding their exposure and having them embraced by new audiences.”
Tickets for these shows will go on sale Wednesday September 7th at 1pm EST. A limited number of badges for the San Francisco Fantastic Fest will go on sale today at 12pm PST.
