Paramount Wants to Play House

It’s a well documented fact how much most of us here at Dread Central love Scott Glosserman’s Behind the Mask (DVD review here). So today’s news from The Hollywood Reporter regarding Glosserman’s next project, Playing House, has definitely generated some excitement.
Paramount Vantage has picked up the project, which Glosserman will direct and co-write with Macy Raymond, who penned the original short story that the film will be based on. The plot doesn’t seem all that original — “a down-on-their-luck young couple are preyed upon when they inhabit a seemingly deserted island mansion” — but I’m putting my faith in Glosserman to somehow find a way to make it fresh.
