Lionsgate’s Ready to Bug You Out!

With 2007 already half over, one film that is still sitting pretty in my Top Five list is William Friedkin’s powerfully disturbing Bug (review here). With the DVD release coming up on September 25th, Lionsgate has provided the major DVD outlets with specs on the special features and a look at the cover art, which you can see to your right.
It’s nowhere near as compelling as the theatrical poster was, but hopefully the extras will make up for it. So far the disc is slated to contain an audio commentary by Friedkin and two featurettes: “BUG: An Introduction” and “A Discussion with William Friedkin”.
If you missed Bug during its all too brief theatrical run, which means you also missed Ashley Judd and Michael Shannon in two of the most amazing performances you’re likely to see anywhere, make sure you head on over to the Evilshop and click here to pre-order the Special Edition ASAP!
