Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Video Shows Us A Nazi Sitcom

Bethesda are creating one hell of a marketing campaign for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. The latest live-action trailer is in the form of an old black and white sitcom, which serves as a propaganda piece telling viewers what they should do if they catch a friend or relative breaking the rules in Nazi-occupied America. In this case, we see what happens to a kid after he’s caught eating chocolate, as good nutrition is apparently a matter of state security.
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus serves as a sequel to 2014’s Wolfenstein: The New Order (review), which itself was a sequel to 2009’s Wolfenstein, which served as a reboot to the series. Set in 1961, it sees longtime series protagonist B.J. Blazkowicz once again making a stand against the Nazis in order to take back his country.
Like its predecessor, The New Colossus is being developed by MachineGames, and will be released by Bethesda on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on 27 October 2017 in both standard and collector’s editions.
