Demon Hunter Sounds Like Vampire Hunter D… With Some Caveats

All right, let me explain that title before I get slaughtered. Wild Eye Releasing’s Demon Hunter is a film about a half-demon/half-human hunter who tracks down and dispatches evil entities. If that doesn’t sound like the basic concept of Vampire Hunter D (just switch “demon” with “vampire”), then I don’t know what to tell ya.
The film is directed by Zoe Cavanagh and stars Niamh Hogan, Alan Talbot, Kevin O’Malley, Nic Furlong, Sarah Tapes Jenkinson, and Margarita Grillis.
Wild Eye Releasing is putting it out on digital/VOD on August 15th.
Synopsis:
After she is captured by police for questioning in the slaying of a man she claimed was a demon, Taryn Barker must prove her innocence and the existence of demons. But when a cult captures the daughter of one of the detectives on the case, the police must trust, and unleash, this warrior on the Satantic group who are intent on bringing an ancient evil force into the world.
