Arrow Video Launches Vinyl Outfit Arrow Music: Starts With Limited Edition Pieces Soundtrack

Arrow Video has just announced that they are launching a new music-focused subsidiary that they’re calling Arrow Music. To kick things off, they’re going to be releasing the original soundtrack to Juan Piquer Simón’s 1982 horror film Pieces, which they are limiting to 500 pieces. Pre-orders are already open via Zavvi. The soundtrack features cuts from Fabio Frizzi, Stelvio Cipriani, and Carlo Maria Cordio.
Per the site, “This limited clear vinyl edition of the Pieces soundtrack has been newly-mastered from the original 1/4″ analogue tapes by James Plotkin and is presented on 180 gram wax, housed inside a 350gsm sleeve. The edition features newly commissioned artwork by Marc Schoenbach and accompanying film notes by Stephen Thrower.”
It will be released on August 25th.
