And even more casting news has come in for FX’s next terror based TV series, “American Horror Story”. Everyone loves a good mean girl, and this soon-to-be-here series has found its smokin’ hot curmudgeon.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Glee co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk are ramping up the casting on their FX pilot by booking Shelby Young (pictured right; The Social Network, “Days of our Lives”) in a recurring role as a mean girl who torments Violet Harmon (Taissa Farmiga).
The highly anticipated project centers on Ben Harmon (Dylan McDermott), a handsome therapist who, along with his wife (Connie Britton) and their kids (including actress Farmiga), moves from Boston to a haunted San Francisco home in an attempt to rebuild his family after a miscarriage and affair. Frances Conroy will play their housekeeper while Alexandra Breckenridge will play a younger version of the same character.
Living next door to our protagonists are Constance (Jessica Lange) and her daughter with down syndrome who knows more about the Harmon house than everyone realizes. Denis O’Hare joins them as Larry the Burn Guy, a former resident of the home.
More as it comes.
