The Creature is on Strike!

According to Variety today the remake of The Creature from the Black Lagoon has entered the pre-production phase with the fine folks at Strike (Dawn of the Dead 2004 and Slither) Entertainment serving as the production company.

Directed by Breck Eisner (Sahara) this new Creature will feature a script by producer Gary Ross (review here) which hopefully has changed a lot since we last told you about it.

I think all we can do is hope for the best and bite our lips. For now Strike’s genre track record is the only reason I’m not ready to flip over my PC desk and curse God. Keep it here for more. *shudder*
