New Info on the Child’s Play Game and ‘SURPRISE!’ None of it Is Very Good

So last week when the new video game starring Chucky of Child’s Play fame was announced by TikGames, fans immediately started wondering – “Would this be something good, or would it be a quick cash-in?” Well, the answer to that hasn’t come yet, but more info on what to expect has.

One of our favorite sites, Giant Bomb, recently caught up with TikGames marketing manager Amar Gavhane, who dropped some really disheartening news on fans.

Turns out that at this time Brad Dourif will not be returning to voice the character, and sadly franchise creator Don Mancini has nothing to do with it.

“This might be the first Chucky project he’s not involved in,” Gavhane said. “The story was written internally, and anybody familiar with the movie series will see some parallels or crossovers with the overall cinematic story arc.”
