We told you about David Arquette’s new film Glutton a couple of months ago, and now that the flick is being pitched at Cannes, an actor has stepped forth to play the 1,200-pound behemoth of a man in this new thriller.
According to Variety “ER” alum Abraham Benrubi (pictured right) will be playing the lead in the film, which has been described as being in the vein of Misery.
The 3D pic was written by Kenny Yakkel (Dead Air). Benrubi will play “Jethro, a bedridden man who is forced to save his sister’s life.”
Stan Spry and Cameron Larson are producing along with R. Scott Reid, Steve Ecclesine and Lawreen Yakkel, while Arquette will executive produce through his Coquette Prods. banner.
Glutton is slated to start production in July in Canada. Look for more on it soon.
