As promised, the promo footage from Driftwood that was shown at Comic Con, minus the behind-the-scenes goodies cut together by Ryan “Rotten” Turek and Bloody Disgusting’s Spooky Dan, has made its way onto the MySpace page for the film.
The teaser trailer was cut together by Bud Smith, he of Exorcist fame, and might be a bit jarring if you’ve had too much (or not enough) to drink, so be warned. Driftwood is the story of a troubled teen (Ricky Ullman) who is sent to the titular attitude adjustment camp, under the strict rule of Captain Doug Kennedy (Diamond Dallas Page). He soon finds more than just a bad attitude and tough rules in the form of the ghost of a former student who is out for some sweet, sweet revenge.
The trailer on the MySpace page not only helps to show off the page’s new look but also kicks off a bi-monthly series of video blogs that will give fans all the info they could ever want to know about the movie and then some.
