Dinner for Fiends: The Year That Was

Dinner for Fiends: The Year That WasAs most of you may recall, a year ago today (July 4th, 2006), the crew you now know and love officially broke loose from the chains of oppression that were holding them back and brought about our own, independently run horror site.

Which is a fancy way of saying we’re a year old today!

To help celebrate and give you guys some insight into what it’s like day-to-day to keep this slick beast running at full capacity, the founders of Dread Central — Steve “Uncle Creepy” Barton, Jon Condit and myself — decided to put on a special edition of Dinner for Fiends to discuss the year that was.

I think this is a new record in getting a DFF ready for your eardrums, too; usually it’s a few days to get it edited just so, but we just banged this one out last night. Sexy. Hope you enjoy this special look behind the bloody curtain that enshrouds Dread Central and that we can continue kicking ass in all shapes and forms for many years to come!
