New Straw Dogs Imagery Showcases Some Gunplay

Just like the rest of you we hate staring at stills that offer a whole lot of nothing. Don’t get us wrong; the following three new stills from the remake of the 1971 classic film Straw Dogs aren’t exactly action-packed, but they’re better than just seeing folks stand around.

Kate Bosworth, James Marsden, Alexander Skarsgard, and Rhys Coiro star in Rod Lurie’s upcoming remake. Look for it in theatres on September 16th, 2011.

In this new version Los Angeles screenwriter David Sumner (James Marsden) moves with his wife (Kate Bosworth) to her hometown in the Deep South. Once there, tensions build in their marriage and old conflicts re-emerge with the locals, leading to a violent confrontation. Also starring will be Dominic Purcell and James Woods.
